Circle shaped leaves, short stem. A tasty addition to specialty micro mixes. Use micro basil in place of regular basil in any recipe, for extra intense basil flavor. Micro basil pesto is amazing. Micro basil is an outstanding choice for caprese, pesto or any recipe that calls for fresh basil. The flavor of micro basil is a bit more intense than adult basil. Ocimum Basilcum.
Dun Pea is one of our all-time favorite microgreens! The pea shoots are sweet and delicious and fairly straight and leafy. They make a great garnish or addition to any salad. This variety (Pisum Sativum) boasts a long stem and leafy top, crunchy, mildly sweet taste, ( just like peas) and overall leafy shape that finishes just any dish with color, visual interest and signature pea flavor.
Broccoli microgreens have delicious mild, fresh and true broccoli flavor. They make a great addition to any salad or garnish. Broccoli micros are a hardier and more substantial microgreen; with healthful and earthy flavors more sweet and buttery than full-grown broccoli. Desirable for their health benefits (an excellent source of sulforaphane — for beautiful hair and nails!) broccoli microgreens are an excellent choice as a base for any micro greens salad. A proud, delicate white stem with shades of purple and a green top, soft texture and rich in vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, and phosphorus.
Arugula is awesome as a microgreen. Even better than the real thing, her signature bite and flavor is all there but with more of it; with a slightly buttery finish and added visual interest from firm, club-shaped leafs. Rich in vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, and phosphorus.
A long green stem with very leafy top — and full-on cilantro flavor! Grown primarily for broad, deep green color and pungent celery-like foliage. As a microgreen, cilantro is a “long grow” but well worth it. Not only for the strong cilantro flavor but for the sweet aroma these greens emit. Use in any recipe that calls for cilantro. Rich in vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, and phosphorus.
Cilantro ( aka., “coriander”) seeds are actually the dried, ripe fruit of the plant, called a shizocarp. A schizocarp is a dry fruit that splits into single-seeded parts when ripe. Cracking can help with germination by releasing the seed.
A “hot” chinese mustard with a stronger mustard bite than most other chinese mustards. Makes a great choice for sandwiches or garnishes. Colorful green leaves with reddish highlights. This heirloom mustard variety is a beautiful, long-stemmed microgreen with strong, distinctive spicy mustard flavor. A white stem with a bright green top and spice/heat. Purple Vienna Kohlrabi is beautiful on the eyes, plate and palette. These flavorful brassica microgreens make a great base for any microgreens salad; with interesting color combinations that make great garnish or addition to any sandwich or slaw. An electric pink and white stem with deep, vibrant green tops.

Sunflower (helianthus annuus) microgreens are our all time favorite microgreen! They are large, substantial greens that are crunchy and have a pleasant nutty flavor. We love to use them as a base for any microgreens salad. They make an excellent snack and your kids will even try to sneak them! We recommend this as a staple of any crop or microgreens salad!
